Mexican Songstress Carla Morrison continues to fly the Indie Flag and has garnered a Latin GRAMMY nomination -- this time in the Best Traditional Pop Album category. Carla is a past recipient of 3 Latin GRAMMYs (and numerous GRAMMY nominations) all within the Latin Alternative categories. 

Amor Supremo Desnudo is Ms. Morrison's further declaration of her continued independence and maturation -- a glance at her life these last few years, juxtaposed with a full bodied more universal sound tailored for a global audience.

For Amor Supremo Desnudo. Carla stayed in her adopted hometown of Mexico City and recorded new versions of her Latin GRAMMY-winning album Amor Desnudo. The album contains 2 new singles -- the aforementioned "Te Regalo" and "Dime Mentiras" and features the critically acclaimed Mexican singer songwriter, Ely Guerra on the newly arranged version of "Tierra Ajena". "Te Regalo" sets the stage for these remarkable collection of songs made even more memorable by their lushness coupled her innovation of imagination.

Carla has made major in-roads since releasing her self-produced debut EP back in 2010. She has toured the U.S. many times over and currently is enjoying a huge wave of success in her native Mexico and has future plans to return to South America and Europe.

Carla has racked up prestigious festivals in both the United States (Coachella 2016, RuidoFest, Celebrate Brooklyn, LAMC at Central Park) and in Mexico (Viva Latino- 4 Times, Pa'l Norte Festival) and is one of the few independent artists to have performed at the legendary Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. 

Recently Morrison's music has been featured in the film "How To Be a Latin Lover", and TV shows such as "The Affair" (Showtime), “The Romanoffs” (Amazon), "Quantico" (ABC), Guillermo Del Toro's "Troll Hunters" (Netflix), "Sons Of Anarchy" (FX), "El Señor de los Cielos" (Telemundo) and commercial campaigns for Walmart (2014 and 2016) and Kleenex (2012). She made her acting debut in 2014 on the film "Ana Maria In Tele Novela Land" (Fluency Studios/NBC) -- which had a theatrical run, showed on the Oxygen Network, and is available on VOD, iTunes, and Amazon.

2018 has been a fruitful year for Carla- she was featured on the title track of the J. Balvin monster album Vibras (along with a Latin GRAMMY Televised performance) the song "Azucar Morena" was featured on the Showtime hit series "The Affair,” and 3 songs were featured in the hit Starz series “Vida.” 

Carla has garnered criitical accolades in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, NPR (All Things Considered, ALT.LATINO, First Listen), KCRW's Today's Top Tune, Boston Globe, Remezcla, Austin American Statesman, LA Weekly, Variety Latino, and most recently a feature in Billboard Magazine.
